Join us for the Ave Maria Experience, a visit that gives you a real taste of life at Ave Maria University. You’ll stay in our residence halls, join current students for class, pray with us at daily Mass or Adoration, and connect with future classmates from across the country.

Between activities, explore our vibrant campus community—clubs, households, intramural sports, and events—and learn about our 36 majors, 35 minors, and scholarship opportunities. All of this in beautiful, sunny southwest Florida!

Parent Participation
Parents are warmly invited to attend the event! Special parent sessions will provide insight into Ave Maria’s academics, student life, faith formation, and financial aid resources. Please note that on-campus housing is not available for parents. Families should arrange local accommodations off campus for the duration of the event.

Important February AME Update
As you may know, Ave Maria University currently has confirmed cases of measles on campus. According to Florida Department of Health (DOH) guidance, measles is contagious from four days before a rash appears through four days after it begins. As of February 6 at 3:00 p.m., two students on campus remain within that post-rash contagious period and are quarantined, with one new case reported since February 4.

Out of an abundance of caution, overnight stays will not be available in February. However, we would still love to welcome you for a one-day visit on Friday, February 20.

Those who are unvaccinated, immunocompromised, pregnant, or otherwise at higher risk may wish to take extra precautions and can reschedule for the April 24–25 Ave Maria Experience .

We know that many of you have already made travel plans, and we understand that this schedule change may be an unexpected adjustment. If you’re looking for ways to enjoy your Saturday, February 21, in and around Naples, here are a few ideas:

• Visit the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens .
• Stroll along Fifth Avenue South for shopping, local art galleries, and charming cafés.
• Enjoy the beauty of Florida beaches at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park , Vanderbilt Beach , or Lowdermilk Beach .
• Check out the Naples Botanical Garden .

These activities are a fun way to enjoy the beauty of Southwest Florida while making the most of your visit!
